The Eagleburgmann type SNB expansion joints are specifically designed to absorb lateral movement and reduce vibration. Most commonly used in steam, water and process applications.

To enable the units to absorb lateral movement in a pipe run they must be fitted at 90 degrees to the direction and movement. Note different allowable movements for lateral and vibration applications. Stated movement and pressure rating apply for temperatures up to 110ºC. At high temperatures the pressure rating and movement capability may be reduced. These expansion joints require the pipework to be securely anchored and guided for safe and correct operation.
